That means looking at the manufacturer the way operations, quality, finance, and logistics would look at it together. The checklist below is the one that matters in real sourcing decisions.
The first screen is capacity, but not in a vague “large factory” sense. You need to know whether the manufacturer can handle your order pattern: trial quantities, repeat lots, urgent replenishment, and mixed specifications.
